At the bed & breakfast "Lofts in Rome" we met a very nice staff with a friendly attitude. We got an informal feeling that was good. We rented a 4 bed room for myself and my elderly parents for a Rome weekend celebrating my father turning 60. My fiancee and our son stayed at home, but they could have easily stayed in our room as well because it was so big. My sister, her husband and their daughter stayed at another hotel, but could visit our room for a short rest on the afternoon after after our walks around Rome. The main reason we chose the bed & breakfast Lofts in Rome was the location. You can walk to all the main attractions such as Collosseum, Forum Romanum and The Vatican/St Peters Church. It is also very near Trastevere were you find many genuine Italian restaurants, and also near the area around Patheon and piazza Navona were you find small shops and art galleries. You can also walk to the shopping area around Fontana di Trevi and Via del Corso. The breakfast was included and served at 8.30. We got a plate with buns, a sandwich and a croissant with juice, fruit and tea/coffe. We could use the coffe machine whenever we wanted during the day. It was an ok breakfast, some things on the plate was a little sweet for our taste, (we are swedish and not used to eat sweets for breakfast, but we enjoyed the sandwich and fruits so it was ok!) The room was clean and nice and had a small pentry kitchen with possibility to cook your own dinner. We only used it to make tea and store some food we bought to bring with us for lunch to save money. It also had a washing machine but we did not use it. Lofts in Rome is a good budget/family alternative and the location was very good if you are interested to reach all attractions by walking around! :)
It is important to know that Lofts in Rome is a "bed & breakfast" and not a hotel with full service. This suited us very well, but good to know so you have the right expactations. It was a little hard to find because at lacked a proper sign. We used the transportation service from the airport offered by "Lofts in Rome" which was good because We would probably have a hard time finding the right place if we got there by ourselves. It is located in a backyard behind an auto repair shop, and only a very small hand written sign at the doorbell reveil that it is the right place. The room was clean and nice but do not have a "luxuary" feeling. The bathroom was rather small. The rooms are located on the ground floor and some rooms did not have windows. This was ok for us because we got one of the rooms with a window to get some fresh air into the room. The breakfast was served at 8.30. A little late if you want to get a very early start. (My sister had breakfast at 7.30 at their hotel so we were an hour late to meet up with them). But we could sleep a little longer instead. :)

Victoria and Roxanna were very kind and helpful. The location was excellent, the apartment was very nice and clean and breakfast was plentiful. Perfect for a city break.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with Lofts in Rome. I will book again and highly recommend it to others.

Our Host Victoria was amazing and even accommodated an early breakfast request as we had an early tour deadline. When we arrived in Rome, she had breakfast ready to greet us. What a warm welcome. The location of Lofts is fantastic. The apartment is secure and It is safe to walk around the streets even after dark. There is a supermarket and gelateria around the corner. Lofts is close to all the main sights of Rome and also walking distance to the markets and Piazza Navona. What a great stay.Would definitely return and would recommend to friends. Extremely good value. once again many thanks to Victoria

Very helpful staff, breakfast was also basic but good.
The shower was only hot for about 3 minutes so you had to be quick! However, after 10 minutes it was hot again so we just needed to take a break between showers.

Clean rooms. Comfortable beds, Very friendly and helpful staff (Vicki). Nice breakfast. Reasonable price. Close to bus and tram lines.
Water heater capacity is too small to take a leisurely shower. Arrangement of toilet is uncomfortable. Handle in shower broke off. No light switch to turn on downstairs lights from the upstairs.

1. Transfer from and to the airport was arranged in advance, which took a lot of the stress out of getting to where we were staying. 2. Viky greeted us on arrival and was very friendly and was able to answer all of my questions. 3. The Lofts accommodation was very clean and contemporary. The apartment was a good size and continental breakfast was good quality. 4. The Lofts location is fantastic - walking distance to all of the main sights, restaurants and bars (walking time for us was approx 5 mins to Trestavere restaurant/bar area - 15 mins to Pantheon - 15 mins to Trevi Fountain - 5 mins to Campo di Fiorio - 15 mins to Piazza Navona - 30 mins to The Vatican). I would highly recommend the Lofts in Rome to anyone who wants to be close to the main sights and who doesn't want to rely on public transport.
A minor thing was the lack of a window in the apartment we had - couldn't tell what the weather was doing unless you walked out of the apartment building.

Our apartments were new, very clean and well stocked. The staff were friendly and helpful and could be contacted easily during our stay. Breakfast was simple - but filling. Finally, the apartments were in a very good, central location for reaching all the sights in Rome. Kids appreciated the Wi-Fi too!

Location was good, walking distance to everything. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were also very clean and bed was comfy.
Breakfast was very basic - pretty much just bread! Shower was very small (not to much of a major issue).
